"Signs, Signs, Everywhere a Sign"

It was a “Signs, signs, everywhere a sign” morning for me. I took the back roads to work and ran up on a construction site. There were 3 very visible road signs, all of which had no validity at all. The first one said, “Road closed.” Nope! The road was wide open. The second said, “Water over road.” Nope! The road was dry as a bone. The third said, “Turn here.” There was nowhere to turn unless you wanted to take a trip through a large field of grass.

Are these people playing with us today, I asked myself?

Next, I stopped at a traffic light and sat behind a vehicle that had quite a few bumper stickers on its rear. There was no way I could read and remember them all . . . except for the one that said, “Buckle up! It makes it harder for the Aliens to suck you out of your car!”

Now, that’s something I have never thought of!

Finally, I stopped at another traffic light and the car in front of me had nothing but this name written on the license plate: JILLIAN. Ahh, now that’s what I like to see. My sweet niece’s name is Jillian!

I followed this wonderful sign all the way to my workplace thinking, Today will be a positive day!

So far, so good!
