"Though I began taking piano lessons at the age of  7, I never had serious classical music study until I reached college.  To say that I was woefully behind is an understatement.  It was quite the challenge for me, but I still enjoyed the pursuit of excellency & the catch-up game that I was required to play - no pun intended - during my college years.  I never have been able to perform with the sparkling technique that I feel is required of classical piano music, but I still have a deep love for the genre & the master composers behind the music which, to me, is the music of angels."
